Safety as our priority

ISO 45001:2018 OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The health and safety of all our stakeholders are of utmost importance to us.

Our policies and processes cover risk management, monitoring the effectiveness of control measures, and adopting a continual improvement approach.

DLE’s managers, engineers, supervisors and workers have clear roles and responsibilities with respect to occupational health and safety (OHS) issues, while subcontractors are duly informed of our rules and regulations in this regard through safety and toolbox meetings. All our staff undergo regular training and refresher courses in OHS, and receive timely updates about changes in these standards through internal memos and during meetings.

Besides the prestigious bizSAFE Enterprise Exemplary Award and attaining bizSAFE Star certification, DLE has also been awarded various safety awards by our clients for our excellent safety record and performance.

Adding value to our community

Our staff volunteer and participate in various charity activities together, which has been a great way to bond while contributing to society.

We have supported the 1000 Enterprises for Children-in-Need fundraiser by the Children’s Society since 2011, and we are a firm supporter of the annual UOB Heartbeat Run/Walk that raises funds for the underprivileged and persons with special needs.

For our Community Day in 2016 and 2019, our staff rolled up their sleeves to help refurbish one-room rental flats, giving the units a good clean and fresh coat of paint, and replacing the residents’ old furniture.

To help grow the construction industry in Singapore, DLE is proud to partner BCA in supporting students who are interested joining the industry.

Launched in 2012, the BCA-DLE M&E Built Environment Scholarships and Sponsorships strengthen our affiliations with the community and industry while grooming young talents and future management staff.

ISO 14001:2015 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

At DLE, we endeavor to be a responsible corporate social citizen by improving our operations to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations, and contractual obligations with regards to the environment. This is done through implementing an effective Environmental Management System to reduce pollution to the environment in the process of carrying out the business.

Accredited with ISO 14001, we conduct trainings among our staff to raise awareness on saving energy and recycling, as well as implementing environmentally friendly policies and best practices.

DLE has implemented an Integrated Management System as we strive to work towards incorporating environmental protection into our business processes.
