SAFETY AS OUR PRIORITY

At DLE, we are committed to a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and associates. Consistently compliant with international health and safety standards, we educate our employees and associates on the latest and most rigorous levels of safety policies and regulations.

DLE has been certified to OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) company since 2008. In 2020, DLE completed the transition to ISO 45001:2018, the world’s truly first international standard on OHS Management System. We have implemented the prescribed international standards for health and safety risk management. Following these standards, DLE delineates clear roles and responsibilities to managers, engineers, supervisors and workers with respect to safety and health concerns.

DLE offers timely and informative training programmes as well as periodic refresher sessions to all levels of employees in the area of safety and health policies, rules, and regulations. Changes in these standards are duly conveyed to employees through regular internal meetings. Safety and Toolbox meetings involving our subcontractors are also held to ensure that they are informed of our in-house safety and health rules and regulations.

In February 2019, we were also awarded the prestigious BizSafe Enterprise Exemplary Award for our Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance and standards. Since 2009, DLE has attained bizSAFE Star for delivering excellence in workplace safety and health management, which is further proof of our commitment towards a safe and healthy workplace.

We have also been awarded various Safety Awards by our clients for our excellent safety record and performance.

In March 2023, DLE was recognized as a bizSAFE Partner by the Workplace Safety and Health Council. This prestigious recognition highlights the company’s commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all its workers including its subcontractors. By achieving this certification, we has demonstrated its dedication to promote a strong safety culture not only within the organisation but along its supply chain as well.

CARING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT

At DLE, we endeavor to be a responsible corporate social citizen by improving our operations to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations, and contractual obligations with regards to the environment. This is done through implementing an effective Environmental Management System to reduce pollution to the environment in the process of carrying out the business.

Accredited with ISO 14001, we conduct trainings amongst our staff to raise awareness on saving energy and recycling, as well as implementing environmentally friendly policies and best practices.

DLE has implemented an Integrated Management System as we strive to work towards incorporating environmental protection into our business processes.
