Originally founded as Double Lion Electrical Pte Ltd in 1980, our company underwent privatization and rebranded as DLE M&E Pte Ltd in 2009. This change was a strategic move to better reflect our integrated capabilities and unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive M&E contracting services to our clients.
Accolades and Recognition
DLE M&E has consistently received recognition for our dedication to quality and excellence. We were honored with the prestigious SME 500 status in 2004, acknowledging our growth and prominence in the Singaporean business landscape. Subsequently, we received the SME Growth Excellence Award in 2010 and were ranked 5th for the Enterprise 50 Awards in 2013. Additionally, our commitment to productivity was recognized by the Building & Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA), earning us the Construction Productivity Award in 2013. We have also excelled in adopting innovative technologies, as evidenced by our receipt of the BCA BIM Award in 2015 and 2016 for our exemplary use of Building Information Modelling (BIM). In 2021, we were awarded the BCA Integrated Digital Delivery Award – Project Category, Gold for our outstanding IDD adoption and demonstration of good practices at the firm and project level in the JTC Logistic Hub construction project.

In 2023, we were awarded the Tripartite Alliance Awards – Winner of Fair & Progressive Employment Practices in recognition of our efforts to proactively cultivate an inclusive culture and consciously build strong employee relations.
