Privacy Policy of DLE M&E Pte Ltd (“DLE, us, we or our”)
The Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“the PDPA”) came into effect on 2 July 2014 mainly to protect individual personal data by establishing rules governing the Company on how to collect, use, disclose, care of the personal data and at the same time includes the rights of individual to access and correct their data.

At DLE, we are committed to protect the privacy and personal data collected and complying with our obligation under the PDPA.

This is the Privacy Policy of DLE that sets out how we collect, use, disclose and protect any Personal Data (defined below) that you give to us.

Existing Data
For avoidance of doubt, personal data that has been collected before the PDPA came into effect on 2 July 2014, DLE will continue to use the personal data for the purpose for which it was collected, unless the individual has withdrawn the consent. For personal data collected after 2 July 2014, DLE will take the necessary measures to notify and obtain the individual’s consent to the collection, use and disclosure of his or her personal data.

Data Collection and Purpose
As defined in the PDPA, “personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who has or is likely to have access. This includes unique identifiers (NRIC number, passport number) as well as any set of data (e.g. name, age, address, telephone number, occupation etc.), which when taken together would be able to identify the individual.

From time to time, you may provide personal information via this site for the purpose which includes (but not limited) to the following:

  1. Sales and servicing enquiry or request for certain information
  2. Provide feedback on our services
  3. Job application for a job at DLE

This site collects standard log information such as your IP address, web browser, device, access time as well as your location information. The collected data is for the purpose of allowing us to improve our customer service.

Disclosure of Personal Data
Your personal data may be disclosed to government agencies or the related companies of DLE where necessary, or required or allowed by law. Example of government agencies are Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Inland Revenue of Singapore (IRAS), Workforce Singapore Agency (WSG) and etc.

Consent

We will seek your consent and notify you the purpose before we collect, use or disclose your personal data. Such consent may be obtained either expressly given or deemed to have been given where individual provide his or her personal data voluntarily for the purpose which includes (but not limited) to enquiries, provide feedback or job application.

Individual may at any time withdraw the consent given or deemed to be given in respect to the collection, use or disclosure his or her personal data by giving reasonable notice to the Data Protection Officer (see contact details below).

Access and Correction of Personal Data
Upon your written request to our Data Protection Officer, we will allow you to enquire about the ways in which your personal data has been or may have been used or disclosed within a year before the request (subject to the exception in the PDPA).

An individual may also write to our Data Protection Officer to correct an error or omission in his or her personal data that was previous provided.

Care of Personal Data
The personal data collected will be retained for as long as it serves or fulfils the purpose for which it was collected. DLE will take reasonable measure when destroying personal data to ensure that the information is irrecoverable or irreproducible in accordance to the applicable law.

DLE is committed to ensure the protection of the personal data in its possession and its control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot completely guarantee that it is free from any unauthorised use of such personal data due to the inherent risk in all internet communication.
